Meta - AR Glasses Team (Orion)

XR Immersive Concept Designer

At Meta, I collaborated with product designers, engineers, and various teams including the AR Games, Meta AI, and AR Maps Navigation to create concepts for AR Glasses (Orion). My work included R&D, UX design, concept development, rapid prototyping, and creating immersive 3D environments for AR/MR/VR. I rapidly developed prototype concepts in days—not weeks—by utilizing 3D and XR tools.

AR Games

AR Pocket Game Concept - “Pop-Up Planet”

Who doesn’t love pop-up books? I designed a pop-up Space Explorer’s Log Book that blends interactive mechanics with visual storytelling where each page reveals a new world as players collect, explore, and build toward reaching other planets.

“Hover Pizza Hustle” - Endless Runner AR Glasses Side Scroller Concept

“Hover Pizza Hustle” - recorded in AR Glasses (made in one week)

In this "Pocket Game" AR side-scroller, players zoom through Brooklyn on a hoverboard, using pinch and swipe gestures to deliver pizzas to hungry customers.

“Pirates and Gems” - Match Three Pirate Battle Game Concept

“Cyber Hexia” - A Cyberpunk City Builder MR Game Concept

Working with the AR Games team, I designed an animated MR experience that transforms floors and walls into a cyberpunk city-building playground. Players place hexagon tiles to grow their city while defending it from invading kaiju monsters.

Meta AI - AR Recipe / Espresso

Final “Meta Connect” AI Recipe Demo

Early concepts - “How to make Espresso”

I collaborated with the Meta AI team to reimagine recipe directions for AR glasses. I translated Figma designs into interactive 3D and 2D graphics that align with real-world objects to deliver intuitive, hands-free instructions.

Meta AI Maps Navigation

I also worked with the Meta AI Maps team to bring map directions to life for AR glasses. Using Figma user flows and 2D graphics, I translated them into 3D and created animations that helped designers see the user-flow’s potential timing, camera movement, and the placement of navigation cues within the AR map experience.

Early Process Workflow - 3D/AR Storyboarding

AR Boxing Game XR Storyboard Demo

In just a few days, I storyboarded a 3-minute AR boxing demo in 3D/VR based on a script and collaborated with engineers to refine mechanics, player POV, pacing, visual cues, and asset placement. This rapid XR storyboard greatly reduced iteration time, enabling the team to test timing, user flow, and interactions before full production began.
