At Black Squirrel, I use 3D and VR tools to create immersive concepts for world building, narrative storytelling, education, and historical experiences.

Our distinctive, sketch-driven style is ideal for rapid iteration and can also be carried through to final production if desired.

Inspired by the colorful and wonderful celebration, I created a Day of the Dead inspired “Dark Ride” theme park concept in VR.

Narrative Storytelling

“The Stranger”

In collaboration with O-T Fagbenle (The Handmaid’s Tale), I integrated his 8K 360° stereoscopic live-action footage with an illustrated film noir 3D style.

This project explored blended two mediums to tell his funny story about a “stranger” he met on his journey to Charleston.

“Window into History”

I worked with Secret Portal to create two animated AR experiences for the “Hanukkah Illuminated 2020” app, bringing Hanukkah stories to life—one uses a window as a portal, and the other features an animated menorah that dances on your table.

“Basics of Electricity”

In collaboration with Promising People LLC, I created a 20-minute VR training lesson that uses animated 3D diagrams to simplify electrical concepts for electricians, making complex ideas clear and engaging.
